GHASTLY JUST DROPPED “GEISHA” AND I THINK MY NECK IS DISLOCATED

FEATURED

We needed this. We needed this. We needed this. Ghastly has burst onto the scene over the past few years with his hard hitting bass and electric energy. His latest hit, “Geisha” dropped like 20 minutes ago and it brings everything about his musical identity to the forefront. Previous 2017 track “We Might Fall” brought more of a mainstream feel. But this, this is what we need. You see tracks getting dropped across the industry over the past months and everything sounds the same with a different vocal and slightly different chords. The same style pop-drop over and over again.

Ghastly has been bringing his bass flare to Festival Stages and the most renowned Club’s across the globe over the past year, garnishing a large following of devout fans. The OWSLA producer has struck gold with this release. It brings all the elements bass fans are looking for in a track. He starts it out with a tricky little bounce back. Essentially the beat is going from upbeat to downbeat repetitively making listeners wonder which direction he is going to take it. A battle for the sound if you will.. As the verse progresses, he incorporates more synths and tempo lines. Once the bridge hits and the sirens sound, GAS ensues. Just listened to “Geisha” a few times and my neck is sore. I’m in bed. It’s not normal.

Not to say Ghastly has come out of nowhere and become one of bass music’s heavy hitters. But, Ghastly has come out of nowhere and become one of bass music’s heavy hitters. Dude has come a long way from raising cattle on a farm. Took himself off the farm. Moved himself to LA. Became a resident DJ at one of the most well-known clubs in the Home of the Brave, Exchange LA. Then, got picked up by Skrilly and OWSLA. Dude comes off as one of the humblest guys in the business and hasn’t changed in the slightest with fame. The brightness of guys future is blinding. *Insert the plug for Ray Bans*

Peep “Geisha” below. The guy smaaaaaaaacked it.
